The IMMIT programme degree totals 120 ECTS credits, to be completed in 2 years full time studies. The language of instruction is English. The program is structured to enable students with different educational backgrounds to participate. Based on their educational background, incoming students are selected into one of the two available tracks: IT Track for students with a Business background, and Business track for students with IT background.

Skills in IT Management
Integration: Managing IT for International Business
The first year comprises the first two phases: Foundations in International Business and IT management skills.
In the second year, the emphasis shifts towards integration issues such as the role of IT in business transformation, management of IT-based innovation and more specialized topics in international IT management. The second semester is devoted to thesis work which may also include an internship in an international operating company. The internship could be anywhere in Europe.
DEGREE AWARDED
Upon completion of the IMMIT program, students get three degrees, one from each partner university:
Tilburg University: Master of Science in Information Management
Université Paul Cezanne Aix-Marseille III Institut d'Administration des Entreprises: Master of Sciences in Management & Information Technology
Turku School of Economics: Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration
The degrees are officially recognized by the countries concerned (the Netherlands, France and Finland).
REQUIREMENTS
IMMIT is open to students with Bachelor or equivalent undergraduate degree (180ECTS) either in
Management/Economics/Business Administration or in
Computer Science/Information System.
Students with an engineering degree can be admitted if their previous education includes ICT and information systems (at least 24 ECTS).
Candidates must have good proficiency of English (IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL paper based 575/TOEFL Internet based 90/91) and pass the GMAT test (score > 570) or GRE (score above average).
Qualitative criteria include:
Marks obtained in the bachelor studies (must be above average)
Quality/recognition of home institution having awarded the first degree
The strength of the statement of purpose, in other words motivation to study IMMIT
CV including extra-curricular activities (especially those associated with cross-cultural/international experiences
SCHOLARSHIP
Erasmus Mundus scholarships are available for IMMIT applicants from third countries. Non-eligible nationalities are:
EU countries
EEA (Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein)
In case of double nationality (EU + non-EU), the non EU nationality determines eligibility for a scholarship.
In order to be eligible for an EM scholarship these student must not have carried out their main activity (studies, work, etc.) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in any of the Member States or the participating countries.

In addition to those regular scholarships, 1 or 2 scholarships are expected to be available for the 2009/10 academic year via a specific regional window for students from the Western Balkans and Turkey: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Kosovo under UNSC Resolution 1244/99, as well as the three candidate countries, namely Croatia, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Turkey.
Students awarded with an Erasmus Mundus Scholarships receive a total of 21.000€/year during the 2 years of studies. A more detailed description of the amount will be given to the student as soon as the scholarship has been awarded. In addition, students granted with an Erasmus Mundus scholarship get an insurance provided by the European Commission.
Please note that the scholarship amount for IMMIT is based on ONE person. If you want to take your family to the three participating countries, please realise that you will have to provide for the extra funding yourself. The same goes for the Visa - we cannot help you with the Visa applications.
