The partner European institutions have developed a European MSc. Degree in Food Science,Technology and Nutrition. The degree will be offered in each of the partner countries. The programme will be organised in a modular format and canditates will be required to undertake six compulsory core modules and to select four modules from the optional modules listing.
Additionally, the programme will require the students to work on a scientific project in one of the partner institutions or in an approved workplace and to submit a thesis.
Candidates applying for admission have to comply with the following entry requirements:
1. A Bachelor of Science degree with the equivalent of the European Honours 2.2 in relevant subjects such as Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Food Science and Technology, Nutrition or cognate subject area, which should meet the standards for quality and level.
2. An equivalent qualification of academic level representing an accumulation of at least 240 ECTS credits with a minimum of Grade C classification.
3. Non-standard applicants will be considered on an individual basis.
4. The working language of the MSc. degree programme is English, and therefore proficiency in English is essential.
Candidates applying for the Erasmus Mundus grant must additionally meet following criterion:
* Must be a citizen of a non-EU country. Accession countries are considered as EU.

* For Erasmus Mundus student grant applicants:
Online application form has to be submitted by 19th December 2008. The supporting documents must reach the SEFOTECH.NUT office by 12th January 2009. The candidate whose application reaches the office after the said deadline will lose the right to the grant.
*For other student applications (admission to the course without Erasmus Mundus grant): 15th August 2009
