Europe-wide, the team of 15 partner organisations of the FAME Network of Excellence supporting the FAME Master is focusing on smart nano-materials, an emerging field drawing inspiration from nature and the living world. Nano-materials science is at the heart of a whole range of new devices and processes in fields as varied as micro- and nano-technology, telecommunications, healthcare and the environmental sciences. Breakthroughs, culminating in new, smart functions in these new materials, will lead to further device miniaturisation, reduced use of raw materials, and promote more energy efficiency.
The structure, organisation and properties obtained in such materials depend on the chemical nature of their components and the synergy between them.

Third-country students can apply for Erasmus Mundus scholarship (21.000 € per year, awarded by the Master consortium). This request procedure is included in the FAME Master Application Form.

Application Form including your motivation to join the FAME Master education team as a scholar
Curriculum Vitae in the preformatted version
Certified copy of your passport or identification card
Certificate of employment in the current academic position
Four recent publications on related subject area (if possible)
